Course Features

Lesson Path Flexibility
Students may take lessons in the order presented, or select only those lessons needed at the time. Except where noted, lessons will stand on their own and don't require linear selection.

On-Line Help
The on-line help feature provides a description of all the function keys available. The function keys allow students to control their movement through the course and access special features such as the on-line glossary or topical access.

On-Line Glossary
The on-line glossary allows students to look up key words and terms during a lesson. Click on a "hot" (highlighted) word on any page to see its definition. Navigate through the Glossary Index using the arrows on the scroll bar.

Topical Access
The topical access allows the student to display a list of topics covered in the course, select a topic, and then automatically enter the course where that topic begins. (Topical Access is not currently incorporated into all Teletutor courses.)

Quizzes with Built-In Reviews
An extensive series of quizzes immediately tells the student which lessons have been mastered and what areas may need a second look. Quizzes are designed with built-in review paths that allow students to review those sections of the lesson that relate to the questions they missed.

Coursemark
When students leave the course, Coursemark records their current progress in every lesson. This allows students to return to the course later and re-enter any previously accessed lesson at the point where they left off. Coursemark also saves each student's completed quiz scores for later review and printing. Coursemark allows up to 50 students to maintain their status in a single course.
