The Center for Acquisition and Materiel Management Education Online (CAMEO) is scheduled for retirement on June 29, 2008.
After this date, all course schedules, registration, training records, and grades will no longer be available through CAMEO. The system will be offline permanently.

As specified in VA Information Letter (IL) 049-07-05, the Acquisition Career Management Information System (ACMIS) is the official system of records
for all acquisition training records. VA employees should ensure that all training information residing in CAMEO is entered into ACMIS.

All future course offerings will become a function of the VA Learning Management System (LMS). Effective October 1, 2008, FY 2009 registration
for acquisition courses will be accomplished through the VA LMS. Additional guidance will be provided closer to that date.
